QTS

Description

The Quick Test Sub ( QTS ) increases efficiency when pressure testing Slickline PCE when multiple runs are being made. Historically, the only way to ensure integrity of your Pressure Control Equipment after a single connection was broken, was to fill the Lubricators and retest the entire string. This is cost more times.
With a QTS, the connection that is broken can be retested by pressure testing the space between the two O-ring Seals on the QTS. This is achieved by connecting a Hand Pump to QTS and testing the Joint O-ring seal from the outside.

Normally, QTS applied in Slickline PCE is same to Wireline PCE.
