◊ China’s Shale Gas Single Well Cumulative Production Record Breaking
On the 11th, Sinopec announced that the cumulative production of Jiaoye 6-2HF well in Fuling shale gas field has exceeded 400 million cubic meters, setting a record for the highest cumulative production of shale gas in a single well in China and setting a new benchmark for shale gas development efficiency in China.
◊ Zero Breakthrough Achieved in Shale Gas Exploration and Development in Guangxi
On December 25th, the first shale gas development demonstration project in Guangxi, Liuchengbei Shale Gas Development Project, successfully ignited the first gas well, and the methane content and calorific value of natural gas reached the national first-class natural gas standard, achieving a breakthrough of zero shale gas exploration and development in Guangxi.
◊ Through Layer Volume Fracturing Technology Helps Sichuan Basin Shale Oil Achieve Significant Breakthroughs
Recently, the Gong119H well in the Gongshanmiao oilfield in central Sichuan achieved high production, with continuous increase in oil production and stable bottomhole flow pressure, marking significant progress in shale oil exploration and evaluation in the Sichuan Basin. The shale oil resources in the Sichuan Basin have great potential, and fracturing is an important measure to improve shale oil production capacity. The shale oil reservoir transformation team has carried out technical breakthroughs and initially formed a volume fracturing technology for interlayer shale oil in the Lianggaoshan Formation, helping shale oil achieve significant breakthroughs.
◊ Achievements in the New Technology Research and Experiment of Fracturing and Production Improvement in Shale Oil Horizontal Wells in Changqing Oilfield
As of December 22, the first shale oil horizontal well carbon dioxide regional enhanced volume fracturing demonstration platform in Longdong Oil Region of Changqing Oilfield has been put into operation for 12 months. The initial daily production of a single well reached 23.3 tons, with the highest daily production exceeding 30 tons. All technical indicators are better than the design target. This marks an important achievement in the research and development of new technologies for fracturing and increasing production in shale oil horizontal wells in Changqing Oilfield, and explores the formation of an efficient development model for carbon dioxide “regional energy increase, production increase, and water conservation”. The effective utilization and efficient development of shale oil reservoirs have achieved new breakthroughs.
◊ China’s Shale Gas Single Day Drilling Depth Breaks New Records
Recently, well Ning 209h73-5 constructed by the 50006 drilling crew of Bohai Drilling Company was drilled to a depth of 2655m, with a mechanical drilling speed of 66m/h. The “platinum target” drilling rate was 100%, and the drilling footage per day was 1039m, breaking the single day drilling footage record of shale gas in China.
