◊ Xinjiang oilfield production exceeds one million tons
According to China National Petroleum Corporation, the first national level terrestrial shale oil demonstration zone in China, Jimsar National level Continental Shale Oil Demonstration Zone in Xinjiang, will have a cumulative production of over 1 million tons in 2024, becoming the first national level terrestrial shale oil demonstration zone to achieve an annual output of over one million tons.
◊ SINOPEC has discovered 200 billion cubic meters of tight sandstone reserves
Recently, at the Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation Meeting of Sichuan Petroleum Society, the Evaluation Committee identified the “Key Technologies and Applications for Exploration of Deep Tight Sandstone Gas Reservoirs in the Xujiahe Formation of Northeast Sichuan” project led by the Exploration Branch. The overall scientific and technological achievements have reached the international advanced level, among which the prediction technology for “fracture bodies” in deep tight sandstone has reached the international leading level.
◊ Significant Benefit Development Achievements of Jiyang Shale Oil in Shengli Oilfield
As the end of the year approaches, three drilling rigs are operating at full capacity in the Minfeng Depression three-dimensional development test well group in the Shengli Jiyang Shale Oil National Demonstration Zone, striving for the annual target task. As of November 21st, 10 shale oil wells have been drilled in the three-dimensional development test well group of Minfeng Depression, achieving profitable development for the first time in the demonstration area.
◊ The exploration and development research of Gulong shale oil has reached the international leading level
Recently, at the milestone evaluation meeting of the “unveiling and leading” project in Heilongjiang Province, two projects, “Research on the Phase State, Seepage Mechanism, and Geological Engineering Integration of Gulong Shale Oil Production and Transformation” and “Research on the Dynamic Evolution Process of Gulong Shale Reservoir diagenesis and the Coupling Relationship between Pores and Fractures”, successfully passed the expert group assessment, marking a new stage of development in the basic research and on-site application technology of Gulong shale oil.
◊ Changqing’s first self-developed high-end fracturing instrument has achieved significant results
On December 2nd, the first domestic multi-functional particle size online analysis instrument for proppant developed by Changqing Oilfield Oil and Gas Technology Research Institute was successfully tested on two fracturing construction wells in Gas Production Plant 5, promoting a new breakthrough in online detection technology for proppant quality in the domestic petroleum industry.
