◊ China’s large-scale development of coal and rock gas has achieved new breakthroughs
Recently, Jereh initiated deep coal rock pressure fracturing construction work on the Jishen 5-10 platform in Yonghe County, Shanxi Province. As a key demonstration well site for PetroChina’s coal and rock gas development, and also the largest coal and rock gas well site in Shanxi Province, its construction and production mark a new breakthrough in China’s large-scale coal and rock gas development.
◊ CNOOC emphasizes the exploration and development of coalbed methane
CNOOC issued a document emphasizing the exploration and development of coalbed methane, making efforts to promote the increase of unconventional natural gas reserves and production, concentrating efforts on forming a coalbed methane exploration and research team, fully exerting the role of the main force, and efficiently exceeding targets in deep coalbed methane, medium shallow coalbed methane, and strategic selection areas, achieving historic breakthroughs.
◊ The expected output value of coalbed methane in Shaanxi Province is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan
Our average daily production of thin coalbed methane single well extraction has exceeded 3000 cubic meters. Recently, at the extraction site of thin coalbed methane in Panhe area of CNOOC Zhonglian Company, Dou Gaofeng, the director of Panhe gas extraction operation area of Jintai Branch of Zhonglian Company, proudly introduced the latest progress to the reporter.
◊ The latest shale oil development technology experiment in Tuha Oilfield is being carried out
Recently, after multiple rounds of scheme analysis and scientific optimization, liquid carbon dioxide in storage tanks is slowly injected into the bottom of the well in the Ji2807 well group of the Zhundong Oil Production Management Area of the Tuha Oilfield through a pry mounted injection equipment.
◊ Chengdu University of Technology develops shale gas fracturing robot to overcome global challenges
Chengdu University of Technology has learned that the first set of underground explosive fracturing robots developed by its geological engineering integration and equipment team over four years has been unveiled at Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory. This project is led by Professor Zhu Haiyan, Vice Dean of the School of Energy (Shale Gas Modern Industry College) at Chengdu University of Technology, who led a research and development team to propose for the first time the combination of a horizontal oil and gas well traction robot and a targeted explosion hydraulic composite fracturing method.
